[PR3] Campaign Creation Contest

Note that the levels can be any difficulty and any length. They need, however, to be races, without item luck involved (each item box should always give the same item so that no luck is involved in speed running). Do not submit PR3 tutorial level, there already is one.

Does the item luck rule still apply? If so, Cavern Chaos breaks the hell out of it, and maybe pick one of Pikachu105's other levels.

The Monks of the Mine by John3

Err, did you forget to add my level Dangevin? I notice that Monks of the Mine is in there while mine isn't.

I must have missed your submission! My bad! When I typed the Monks of the Mine submission into the list, I solely went off of a PM they sent me on PR3.

It will be updated shortly, no worries.

The rule still applies. I forgot to write it down in the rule set Tongue

I'll make sure to update the thread.

If your submission breaks the item rule, I suggest that you consider making a slightly modified version for single player campaign. After all, items are mostly added to keep a race entertaining when playing with other players (for instance, Candy land). When it comes to speed running, the fun mostly comes out of improving your times.

I'll submit 6 Bit Skyland (by me).

A level with a retro art style. It uses a custom 6-bit color palette.

My best times are:
2:00 (no hat, 50 50 50)
1:48 (no hat, 70 58 58)

I've got a question for you all:

Should I lower the submission entry time to 2 weeks rather than 3, or just keep it how it is?

(Phase 1 submissions entries being closed on the 18th of October rather than the 25th)

I wouldn't mind shortening the time, however there might still be people who're finishing their levels. Then again, they can always enter in the next phase.

We're all waiting patiently for the new campaign levels, but like Mist said, we should give people more time to finish and improve their levels.

I'm not used to having to wait more than a week to actually start deciding winners (since that's what we did for Level of the Week).

Personally I would be fine with lowering the submission entry deadline as long as others are okay with it.
