Plazma Burst 2.5
[Image: latest?cb=20120711235706]

Plazma Burst 2 (usually abbreviated as PB2) is a side-scroller flash game created by Eric Gurt and released on March 10, 2011. This was the second game in Eric Gurt's Plazma Burst series of games and a sequel to Plazma Burst: Forward to the Past, which will likely be succeeded by Plazma Burst 3. It follows the series' main characters, the Marine and later, Noir Lime, as well as introducing new factions and allies, including a third main protagonist, Proxy. The game picks up after the events of FttP, where the Marine was dropped off by a pod after he left Noir Lime on the planet from the first game, assuming he would die.

It is set in a post-apocalyptic world, where Humans (Civil Security) are fighting against a mysterious, powerful alien race known as the Usurpation Forces. The player is tasked with surviving through fight sequences (Levels) that involve combat scenarios in which they fight both factions, as well as other non-affiliated enemies.

Tons of updates for the Plazma Burst 2 Remake:

-Seems to run at 50 FPS in highest settings for Intel HD 4000.
-Closed beta will be possible for active skilled map makers and/or fighters.
-Some user requests/ideas are already in the game (Jetpacks are in!)
-A lot of more cosmetical things, for example, lamps can now be colored, blood stays in walls for a while, there's a skin editor, new characters, different button colors, etc.
-And a lot more, check Eric's twitter for a lot more information.

Eric seems to be considering a playable Alpha which would make sense due to the slow progress of the remake, we got Fire now! But no flamethrower. The AI seems to be really, really advanced for any game. They can path-find, revive allies, go prone, shoot players through walls and calculate the damage and/or needed weapon for it.

There's are also now Gestures which will be useful for communicating with players of other languages, and it seems like it has a LOT of new grenades, but not many are specified yet. We also got new barrels and an empty barrel.
It's 2019 and the game is only 20% done, I'll probably have a wife and kids when it's done...
