BlockStorm - New Android Game (BETA)
#1
Star
Hey!

It's been a long while I didn't publish any new game, but it was for a good reason: since Flash has been long dead (press F to pay your respects), I've been studying the ancient art of making games with actual game engines!

Using Unity, I've made an Android game called BlockStorm. It is a very simple, yet hard to master, arcade game for Android. All you have to do is bounce on the blocks that keep falling from the sky and reach as high as you can! Each block you bounce on grants you 1 point, and the game gets harder as you earn more points.

Color combos (bouncing in three blocks from the same color in a row) can be used to earn bonus points and bounce waaaay higher, which can really help you through the game and increase your final score.

If you want to download it on your phone and play it, just click on this link to download on Google Play:

WebGL demo for those on desktop web browsers:

Please, post your reviews and feedback on this thread, it's very important in order to improving the game, suggestions are welcome too.

Nice to see you still make games, unfornately, I don't have a mobile phone to test this out... BUT for a second I thought https://store.steampowered.com/app/263060/ was ported to mobile.

Thank you!
When I release the game, I'll try to create a browser version too, so don't worry.

(For a moment, I thought someone simply uploaded my game to Steam and I was like: "wtf??")

Pretty good, could use some music, the collisions feel annoying for an endless jumper but it also adds to the uniqueness I guess, and it's pretty hard because the blocks are so tiny gah, but still good.

Thank you!

The difficulty makes it addictive, because it's so simple but hard at the same time. But once you get used to the controls, which doesn't take too long, it starts getting easier
