Any powerlifters on here?
#1
If so, what are your stats?

Current goal is to reach that 1000lb benchmark (where your 1 rep max in the 3 exercises exceeds 453kg/1000lb), and I am so close, it's annoying.

Bench: 110kg/242lbs
Squat: 150kg/330lbs
Deadlift: 185kg/407lbs

If not specifically powerlifting, are there any frequent gym goers on here? What workouts have you found to be the most effective?

My government killed a man for no reason. They had no proof he was involved in 9/11 no one even charged him with it. He was never indicted, arrested or tried for the 1998 bombings but was gunned down like a dog in the street. One day we will find out the truth about 9/11.

I can hardly lift 15kg without getting tired. I think you can figure out where I stand.

I've bench pressed a few times, but that's about it. Not regularly or anything. Deadlifting has always scared me, because of the injuries I've seen people get from it. I asked one of my friends who does deadlift for you and he said to complete the lift with your hips as opposed to your knees.

I only lift when I do squats, and no more than 20kg haha

The easiest way for you to get your goal would be to work on your bench press, I have some mates who have trained themselves to bench over 120kg

focusing on the bench is the worst thing he could do, his bench is already much better than his squat.

Tebbe is right, although I am 9.5 kilograms away from the 1000lb goal, meaning a 120kg bench would do it; the other two still need to be higher first.

Weightlifting is clean and jerk and snatch, a 1,000 lbs total in weightlifting is insane, it has only been achieved in the 105+ kg weight class.

Well, since I can still see this blog (even though I posted it 11 days ago), might as well let you know I squatted 160kg parallel this morning, meaning I've reached that 1000lb goal overall.

I'll get my bench to 130, and my deadlift to 200, then I'll move to calisthenics.

Congrats on 1000lb! How long did it take you? My bench 1rm is 135 but in pounds lol, not kg. My bench barely goes up tho. I'm better at the leg movements (I'm a sprinter). After my season ended last month I started lifting almost exclusively and my squat 1rm SHOT UP by 40lb in a little over 3 weeks, but my bench only went up by 10lb. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
