Bought a new laptop
#1
https://www.komplett.no/product/1131393/

The price (5990 NOK) translates to around 666 US dollars. I think it's pretty powerful for the price. It's 14 inches, has a quad core processor and should be able to fulfill my needs.

I plan to use it mainly for school work and some light gaming, mostly emulators. Perhaps GTA San Andreas if possible.

It will arrive on Monday. What do you think?

The low-end lenovo ideapad laptops are not optimal for gaming, just saying. I had two earlier, both being pretty shit and about the same price range.

Emulators should be fine of course, but I feel these laptops wear out pretty fast compared to others. You might want a cooler if you don't have one, they get very hot usually.

I mean the computer, like run some online benchmarking tests so we can see how good the PC is (by the tests' standards)

I know it's not supposed to be impressive since you said light gaming, but it'll make a point of reference for what you can get for the price

You're really not going to be able to do any serious gaming on a laptop without paying over the odds.
